“I am rubbish at teaching myself anything. Even YouTube videos are confusing. This app is super effective. The teachings are transparent and manage to answer all of your questions at once. One lesson incorporates all the details into short, concise sentences. best aso agency I never have to double back or pause. Your processing priceless info. in half the time.
I have been trying to learn Mandarin Chinese for a year, have tried (and paid for) at least four different subscriptions, and finally got through some hang-ups after using the lessons on this app.
Highly recommend.”
“After reading other reviews, it is evident that one either loves or hates this app. As for me, I love it. I don’ have a lot of time during my day to spend cruising YouTube. With this app, the thing’s I am interested in are right at my fingertips when I open the app.
One reviewer complained that you have to choose things from areas you are not the least bit interested in; that is true. However, engaging in those little “”curios”” helps make you a more well-rounded person, so that you capable of participating in conversations in an intelligent manner.
The whole idea of this app is to help you learn more about the things you are interested in and expose you to things you don’t know. If you don’t want to pay for that, fine; go surf YouTube. As I said, I don’t have the time for that. I gladly paid the price (and you get a price break if you subscribe for a year) for the convenience and exposure to things I didn’t realize I was interested in.
If you don’t want to subscribe, don’t; but don’t base your rating on the price.”
Curious is set up based on a wheel, covering various categories (think Trivial Pursuit) of interesting topics. You tell Curious what you want to learn more about and it suggests content from lots of different media. Some days, I just do crosswords, other days I listen to podcasts on how to communicate better or read articles about cancer research or dinosaurs. The point is that Curious can be what you want it to be, and it gives you suggestions for things that you wouldn’t have thought to go look up on your own.
The interview gives the app info about your interests. These determine what lessons are offered besides the daily core ones. If your connection is slow, something like “preparing interview” will appear until your info is loaded. It’s only done once, unless you choose to redo it, to change your personalized lessons app store optimization companies. I’ve used Curious for a long time for free. Paying adds more, but I enjoy the free content very much. I get a daily alert, that I could turn off I I wanted to. No phishing. No spam. Those who say otherwise are mistaken, just expecting the worst. This is only my second day using this app. I love how they inform you with fun facts and laughter.
